Divine Connection; Faith in the Age of Screens WBJMinistries | Yah’s Presence Beyond the Scroll

🌐Divine Connection; Navigating Faith in the Age of Screens

WBJMinistries | Sermon for Today

🙏🏽🙌🏼🤲🏼📿🛐

Abba Yah, Creator of time and space,

We pause in this moment to acknowledge You beyond the boundaries of bandwidth and beyond the glow of our screens. Thank You for wisdom, for breath, for the fire of Your Word. Touch every heart tuning in today, digitally or spiritually, with Your presence. Let Your truth speak louder than notifications, and let this be a time of sacred connection.

In Yahusha’s name we pray, halleluyah.

📖 Scriptural Foundation

Yeshayah (Isaiah) 55:6 – HalleluYah Scriptures

“Seek יהוה while He is to be found, call on Him while He is near.”

📜 Mattithyahu (Matthew) 6:6 – HalleluYah Scriptures

“But when you pray, go into your room, and having shut your door, pray to your Father who is in the secret place. And your Father who sees in secret shall reward you openly."

📚 Philosophical Reflection

The philosopher Marshall McLuhan once said, “The medium is the message.” But in the realm of Yah, the message, the Living Word, transcends any medium. Whether written on scrolls, preached on street corners, or streamed through fiber optic cables, Yah's truth never changes.

We live in a time where truth is tweeted, and faith is filtered. But the spirit is not bound by silicon or screen. In digital modernity, we must ask: Are we truly connected, or just consuming?

🌍 World Geography & Cultural Relevance

From the mountains of Tibet to the islands of the Caribbean, from the Maasai rituals of East Africa to candle-lit Catholic altars in Poland, spiritual connection takes many forms.

And now, we’re invited to add one more: the digital sanctuary.

A Mohegan medicine wheel represents balance and flow, like the internet, which circles the globe. But Yah's order reminds us to center our faith even as we embrace new expressions. Even in cities like Manhattan, where skyscrapers rise and cultures collide, Yah moves among the crowded digital crowds.

🧠 Sociology & Anthropology

Social systems shape our spiritual habits. In sociology, we learn that rituals bind the community, but what happens when our rituals become hashtags?

As anthropologists examine symbolic meaning in Amadlozi ancestor worship or Unkulunkulu’s creation mythology, we are reminded: Symbols matter. In today’s world, a glowing cross on a phone lock screen can serve the same purpose as a sacred relic, it draws our focus upward.

But beware the idol of the scroll—that endless social media scroll that replaces soul-searching. Let our time online reflect sacred intention.

🔥 Spiritual Symbolism

Light ~ Symbol of Yah's wisdom, now seen in glowing screens. May our screens be lit with righteousness.

Waves ~ Symbol of sound, movement, and wireless connection, like the Ruach flowing where it wills.

Open Book ~Represents revelation. Whether it’s digital or physical, Yah's Word remains alive.

Circle ~A symbol of eternity and wholeness. May our digital use return us to divine purpose. 🤲🏽 Responsible Use of Technology. Wake up with Scripture, not social stats. Speak kindness online; bless with your voice and post. Turn devices into discipleship tools, not distractions. Keep your Sabbath screen-free. Let rest return.

💝 Support WBJMinistries

We accept donations via Cash App ($WBJMinistries) and Chime. Every seed planted supports spiritual content, outreach, and hope for those walking by faith, not sight.

🙏🏽🙌🏼🤲🏼📿🙏🏼

Father Yah, we give You all our devices, all our platforms, and all our hearts. Let us not idolize screens, but sanctify them. Let us not scroll away from You, but scroll toward Your wisdom. Guide our minds and our hands to glorify You in all things, digital and physical. May our spirits remain plugged into Your eternal current.

We ask for protection, provision, and purpose as we walk by faith in the age of screens.

In the Name of Yahusha, halleluyah.
