Sermon ~ Paths to Destiny; Walking, Making, and Trusting Yahusha

šš¼šš¼š¤²š¼šæš
Elohim, Creator of the stars and the cycles of the moon, we come before You with hearts ready to receive wisdom. Open our eyes to see the paths You have set before us, and give us courage to make the paths You have called us to create. Shine Your light in the darkness, as the New Moon begins a fresh cycle. May Yahusha guide our steps, and may we walk boldly in our calling.
Halleluyah.
šMessage;
Beloved, today we reflect on a profound truth; not every path is meant to be followed; some are meant to be made. Life is full of roads laid before us. Some smooth, some jagged but Yahusha, our Great Shepherd, reminds us that some of our destinies require us to forge our own way. Consider DĆ©bārah (Deborah) in Shoftim (Judges) 4:4, Halleluyah Scriptures. She was a woman of courage and wisdom, leading Israel in times when the path was unclear. She did not merely walk a pre-existing road; she made the path through her courage, her voice, and her faith in Yahusha. As Maya Angelou once said, āWe may encounter many defeats but we must not be defeated.ā The defeats, the obstacles, they are not signs to abandon your path. They are invitations to create a road where there seems to be none. Even the cosmos reminds us of this divine truth. The New Moon marks beginnings, a blank slate in the sky. It tells us; there is a season to wait and watch, and a season to act and shape our destiny. Like the stars scattered across the heavens, each of us has a unique position to fill, a light to guide our own journey. Harriet Tubman, who led her people to freedom through uncharted terrain, declared courage in action. She did not wait for a safe road; she made one. And like her, we are called to step into paths that are ours to create, trusting Elohim to light our way.
Black women and men throughout history remind us of the power of self-made paths. Oprah Winfrey once said, āThe biggest adventure you can take is to live the life of your dreams.ā Similarly, James Baldwin declared, āNot everything that is faced can be changed, but nothing can be changed until it is faced.ā Even in our daily lives, this principle holds. Some roads are meant to be followed because they guide us. Nevertheless when Yahusha plants a vision in your heart, a calling unique to your purpose, you are not merely walking, you are creating. You are crafting a path that others may one day follow. Remember the women of scripture like Ester (Esther) and Mary Magdalene. They did not wait for life to hand them a path. They seized destiny, confronting fear with faith. They remind us that our divine calling often requires boldness; boldness to step into the unknown, boldness to trust Yahusha, and boldness to make the path when none exists. Beloved, as the New Moon rises unseen, it teaches us patience and preparation. As it grows, it illuminates the night sky. So too will the path you create in faith shine, guiding you and inspiring others. Walk with courage, create with vision, and trust that Elohim and Yahusha are the compass of your soul.

Elohim, Maker of the heavens and earth, we thank You for reminding us that some paths are meant to be created, not followed. Grant us the courage of Deborah, the boldness of Esther, the faith of Mary Magdalene, and the wisdom of our ancestors. May our lives reflect Your light, as the New Moon begins its cycle, and may we inspire others to trust in Your guidance. In Yahushaās name, Halleluyah.
