Sabbath of the Cosmos: A Prayer of Rest, Reverence, and Radiance

Sabbath Day Prayer | WBJMinistries

Abba Yahusha, Heavenly Father,

On this blessed Sabbath Day, we come before Your radiant presence—under the canopy of Your created Cosmos, with hearts aligned to the rhythm of rest and reverence. Just as the stars in Orion’s Belt stand in divine formation, so we too align ourselves with Your sacred design for rest, worship, and restoration.

“Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work: But the seventh day is the Sabbath of Yahusha thy Eloah…”

— Shemoth (Exodus) 20:9-10, Halaleyah Scriptures

We thank You for the commandment of the Sabbath—a day that echoes across galaxies, through ancient temples, sacred drums, whispered Polish prayers, and Mohegan chants, all proclaiming “HalaluYah!”

In this holy pause, we reflect:

From the grand halls of The Metropolitan Museum of Art to the quiet exhibits in The Jewish Museum of Manhattan, we are reminded that Your truth is painted in every civilization, sculpted in every culture. Through creative expression, the Sabbath becomes our living museum—a sanctuary where we display our faith, our failures, and our forward march with You.

“And the Sabbath was made for man, and not man for the Sabbath.”

— Marqos (Mark) 2:27, Halaleyah Scriptures

As Amadlozi, the ancestors, whisper through ancestral winds and as Unkulunkulu, the Great Creator, calls forth the breath of life, we remember that honoring the Sabbath connects us with the generations who kept the flame of faith alive. It honors the Mohegan Earth prayers, the rosary whispers of Catholic cathedrals, the Muslim prostrations in the direction of peace, the Zen silence of Buddhist monks, and the sacred songs of Polish altars.

“Look deep into nature, and then you will understand everything better.”

— Albert Einstein

“Do not dwell in the past, do not dream of the future, concentrate the mind on the present moment.”

— Buddha

“I have looked into the eyes of the cosmos, and there I saw the Face of God.”

— Carl Sagan (paraphrased)

Let this Sabbath, Yahusha, be more than a rest. Let it be a resurrection of our callings, a reawakening of our purpose, and a rejoicing in Your grace.

We lift WBJMinistries today—let its digital sanctuary reach the isolated, the curious, the bruised, and the bold. Let every word we speak, teach, or preach carry the breath of the cosmos and the fire of the Holy Ruach.

Let our scars be sanctified. Let our lineage be legacy. Let our Sabbath walk be a ministry of light.

"Faith that moves: Are we walking or just talking?" May we walk boldly today, even in stillness.

In the stillness of the Sabbath,

We find the thunder of Your presence.

In the quiet, we hear Your calling.

In the Cosmos, we see our Creator.

In each tradition, we trace Your truth.

HaleluYah! HaleluYah! HaleluYah!

In Yahusha’s mighty name, we rest, we rise, we rejoice.

HaleluYah.
