Elohim of Creation, Yahusha our Redeemer, we bow before you in humility and thanksgiving. We honor the breath of life you have placed within us and the wisdom of the ancestors you have given for our guidance. May Your Word inspire us to walk with endurance, courage, and faith. In Yahusha’s name we pray, Halleluyah.

The image of the tortoise declares; “Slow and Steady wins the race.”

This echoes the life of faithful women throughout the Scriptures, who walked not in haste, but in trust and endurance. Their stories remind us that Elohim rewards perseverance, faithfulness, and obedience. Women of the Scriptures Who Walked Steadfastly. Esther (Ester 4:14, Halleluyah Scriptures) – “For if you keep silent at this time, relief and deliverance shall arise … And who knows whether you have come to the reign for such a time as this?”

Esther teaches us courage and timing. Like the tortoise, she moved carefully, wisely, and faithfully, and her endurance saved her people.

Mary Magdalene (Yoḥanan 20:18, Halleluyah Scriptures) – She remained at the tomb when others had gone, and she became the first witness of Yahusha’s resurrection. Her steadfast love shows that patient devotion reveals divine truth. Deborah (Shophetim/Judges 4:4, Halleluyah Scriptures) – As a prophetess and judge, she ruled with wisdom. She did not rush, still waited for Elohim’s direction, leading her people to victory with faith, not haste.

Hannah (Shemu’el Aleph/1 Samuel 1:10–11, Halleluyah Scriptures) – In tears and prayer, she endured long years of waiting for a child. Her steady faith brought forth the prophet Samuel.

These women, like the tortoise, remind us that the journey of faith is about steadfastness, prayer, and obedience.

The Kemetic Laws of Ma’at and Endurance. The ancient laws of Ma’at teach harmony, truth, and righteousness. These principles align with Yahusha’s teachings;

1. I have not committed sin – Steadfast faith guards our steps from wandering.

2. I have not uttered lies – Like Deborah, we must speak truth even when it is slow to be received.

3. I have not stolen – Endurance means trusting Elohim’s provision rather than rushing to seize what is not ours.

4. I have not caused pain – Women like Hannah show us patience brings healing, not harm.

5. I have not polluted myself – Mary Magdalene’s transformation shows us Elohim restores when we endure faithfully. When we walk with endurance, like the tortoise, we also walk in the spirit of Ma’at; balance, justice, and truth. Philosophical and Cultural Reflections~ The Mohegan Tribe teaches us that life is a circle, where patience honors creation.

Zulu wisdom says, “Umuntu ngumuntu ngabantu” – A person is a person through others, reminding us that endurance is not a solitary race, though a communal journey. Black women’s wisdom tells us that perseverance is not weakness, nonetheless strength born of resilience and faith. From our Polish lineage, devotion in prayer and tradition has sustained generations through hardship. Together, these voices proclaim that endurance is victory.

🗣️Conclusion~ Beloved, Yahusha calls us to the steady race. Not the fast sprint. As the tortoise teaches, victory comes not from speed, however from faithfulness. And as the women of Scripture remind us, endurance through prayer, courage, and obedience is the key to triumph. Let us, then, walk slowly, faithfully, and steadily with Yahusha, until the race is complete and the crown of life is ours.

Elohim of Truth and Justice, Creator of Balance, we thank You for the wisdom of the women of Scripture and for the laws of Ma’at that call us to live upright. May we endure patiently, walk faithfully, and finish strong in Yahusha. May our steps be steady until we cross into Your eternal presence. In Yahusha’s name we pray, Halleluyah.
