Treasure Of Avalanche

1 Kings 1:

1 When King David was very old, he could not keep warm even when they put covers over him.

2 So his attendants said to him, “Let us look for a young virgin to serve the king and take care of him. She can lie beside him so that our lord the king may keep warm.”

3 Then they searched throughout Israel for a beautiful young woman and found Abishag, a Shunammite, and brought her to the king.

4 The woman was very beautiful; she took care of the king and waited on him, but the king had no sexual relations with her.

5 Now Adonijah, whose mother was Haggith, put himself forward and said, “I will be king.” So he got chariots and horses ready, with fifty men to run ahead of him.

6 (His father had never rebuked him by asking, “Why do you behave as you do?” He was also very handsome and was born next after Absalom.) Psalm 46:2

Therefore we will not fear, though the earth give way and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea,

3 though its waters roar and foam and the mountains quake with their surging.

4 There is a river whose streams make glad the city of God, the holy place where the Most High dwells. Habakkuk 2:20

The LORD is in his holy temple; let all the earth be silent before him. Proverbs 25:11

Like apples of gold in settings of silver is a ruling rightly given.

12 Like an earring of gold or an ornament of fine gold is the rebuke of a wise judge to a listening ear.

13 Like a snow-cooled drink at harvest time is a trustworthy messenger to the one who sends him; he refreshes the spirit of his master.

14 Like clouds and wind without rain is one who boasts of gifts never given.

15 Through patience a ruler can be persuaded, and a gentle tongue can break a bone. Job 7:1

“Do not mortals have hard service on earth? Are not their days like those of hired laborers?

2 Like a slave longing for the evening shadows, or a hired laborer waiting to be paid,

3 so I have been allotted months of futility, and nights of misery have been assigned to me.

4 When I lie down I think, ‘How long before I get up?’ The night drags on, and I toss and turn until dawn.

5 My body is clothed with worms and scabs, my skin is broken and festering.

6 “My days are swifter than a weaver’s shuttle, and they come to an end without hope.

7 Remember, O God, that my life is but a breath; my eyes will never see happiness again. Ephesians 6:7

Serve wholeheartedly, as if you were serving the Lord, not people,
