AUTHORIZED: Crushing Darkness with Divine Authority🛡️🔥

WHY THIS WORD MATTERS

This is not symbolic comfort language. This is legal, spiritual, and cosmic authority given directly by Yahusha. Authority is not emotion. Authority is jurisdiction. When Yahusha speaks, realms shift.

Philosopher Hannah Arendt taught that power without authority collapses into violence. Yahusha reverses this: authority defeats violence without becoming it.

GEOGRAPHY & ANTHROPOLOGY

Luqas writes to a Greco-Roman world obsessed with hierarchy, domination, and empire. Serpents and scorpions were not metaphors only, they were real environmental threats in the Levant, Mesopotamia, and North Africa.

Anthropologically, serpents symbolized:

Chaos (Mesopotamia)

Hidden violence (Roman law)

Spiritual deception (ancient Near East)

Yahusha reclaims the symbol and says: you do not flee what once ruled you—you tread on it.

In Roman law, authority (auctoritas) outranked force (potestas). Yahusha grants auctoritas.

Deterrence works only when authority is legitimate

Illegitimate power produces rebellion and crime

Yahusha gives legitimate authority rooted in Elohim.

💧 Hagar survived wilderness oppression ~ authority

These women crushed serpents without becoming serpents.

MUSLIM TEACHINGS (ISLAMIC PARALLEL)

In Islam, the Qur’an teaches:

“Indeed, My servants ~ no authority will you have over them.” (Qur’an 15:42)

This mirrors Luqas 10:19: Authority belongs to the surrendered, not the oppressor.
