AMOS 3 — WHEN ELOHIM REVEALS HIS PURPOSE, PROGRESS IN SPIRITUAL UNDERSTANDING!
AMOS 3 — WHEN ELOHIM REVEALS HIS PURPOSE, PROGRESS IN SPIRITUAL UNDERSTANDING!
📖Scripture: Amos chapter 3: verse 7 — Revelation to His Servants
“Surely the Sovereign Yahuah will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets.”
Beloved, hear this prophetic message! When Elohim begins to reveal something, it is not an invitation to become prideful; it is a call to become spiritually steadfast. Amos 3 reminds us that we cannot continue with Elohim while refusing to explore our ways. Revelation requires obedience, understanding, and the valor to speak righteous even when the world does not want to hear it.
Yahusha teaches us that real spiritual growth is not about appearing powerful. It is about becoming transformed in our hearts, our minds, and our daily conduct.
🌌 The Seven Hermetic Principles and Spiritual Growth
These seven principles come from Hermetic philosophy, not directly from Scripture. We can examine them alongside biblical teachings while remembering that Scripture remains our foundation for discerning spiritual authenticity.
Mentalism — Guard Your Mind 🧠
Hermetic teaching emphasizes the power of mind. Romiyim (Romans) 12:2 teaches us to be transformed by the renewing of our minds. Do not allow anxiety, bitterness, or confusion to control your thinking. Let uprightness guide your understanding.
Correspondence — Consider What Is Within 🔍
“As above, so below” is a Hermetic expression. As a spiritual reflection, it reminds us to test whether our outward conduct reflects our inward beliefs. Mattithiyahu (Matthew) 7:16 teaches that people are recognized by their fruits. The journey should agree with your testimony!
Vibration — Pay Attention to Your Spiritual Condition 🧬
Hermetic philosophy describes everything in terms of vibration. Biblically, we can apply this idea by exploring the attitudes and influences we entertain. Galatiyim (Galatians) 5:22–23 describes the fruit of the Spirit, including love, peace, patience, and Moderation. Do not confuse emotional intensity with the presence of Elohim; look for righteous fruit.
Polarity — Choose Righteousness Over Shadow ⚖️
Hermetic philosophy meditates opposites. Scripture calls us to understand between righteousness and wickedness. Yeshayahu (Isaiah) 5:20 warns against calling evil good and good evil. Every difficult season presents an opportunity to remain faithful instead of allowing inquity to shape your character.
Rhythm — Understand the Seasons of Life 🌱
Life has seasons of planting, waiting, growing, and harvesting. Qoheleth (Ecclesiastes) 3:1 reminds us that there is a season for every purpose. Do not abandon your calling because progress seems slow. A season of waiting is not permission to stop obeying Elohim.
Cause and Effect — Observe the Fruit of Your Choices 🌾
Our choices carry harvest.
Galatiyim (Galatians) 6:7 teaches that whatever a person sows, that person will also reap. Sow righteousness, practice forgiveness, pursue knowledge, and take ownership for your fruits. Expect a harvest of peace while continually planting seeds of resolution.
Gender — Understand Creation and Fruitfulness 🌿
Hermetic philosophy uses masculine and feminine principles to describe complementary aspects of creation and generation. Bereshith( Genesis) 1:27–28 speaks of humanity's creation in the image of Elohim and the blessing of fruitfulness. As a spiritual application, consider how faith and fruit work together: believing without obedient practice leaves your beliefs unexpressed. Yaaqob (James) 2:17 teaches that faith without works is dead.
📣 The Prophetic Charge: Journey in Faithfulness!
Beloved, Amos was not sent to entertain people; he was sent to deliver a message that demanded attention. Today, we must also resist the temptation to chase spiritual mysteries while neglecting righteousness.
The seven Hermetic principles may offer philosophical reflections, nevertheless they must never replace the Word of Elohim or become a higher authority than Yahusha. Do not merely seek revelation, seek the character to carry it! Do not merely speak about spiritual power, demonstrate love, integrity, instruction, and obedience. Do not mistake every coincidence for a divine sign. Test what you hear, consider the fruit, and remain grounded in righteousness. When Elohim reveals, respond with humility. When He corrects, respond with repentance. When He calls, respond with obedience!
HALALUYAH! May our lives bear witness to the genuineness we proclaim.
