Breaking the Chains-Confronting Political Obstruction to Reparations

Restoring the Broken Bridge- A Call for Reparations Rooted in Righteousness

Opening Prayer-

Heavenly Father, we gather today with hearts burdened by centuries of injustice and with a burning desire for restoration. Guide our words and actions as we address the truth of reparations for African Americans. Let Your wisdom, justice, and love flow through this message. HalleluYah!

The call for reparations is not just a political demand—it is a spiritual mandate rooted in scripture. African Americans have endured the weight of slavery, systemic racism, and generational inequities. Today, I proclaim that it is time to restore what has been broken, to rebuild what has been stolen, and to heal wounds that linger in our communities. Reparations are not charity; they are justice. And justice is Yahusha's command.

A Foundation of Justice- The Root Chakra

Halaleyah Scripture Reference- Mishle (Proverbs) 13:22

"A good man leaves an inheritance to his children’s children- but the wealth of the sinner is laid up for the righteous."

The foundation of reparations lies in justice and inheritance. The wealth built on the backs of enslaved Africans has not been returned to their descendants. A blocked root chakra reflects a lack of stability, and our communities have been destabilized by stolen labor and land. Yahusha calls for restoration.

Historical Truth- During slavery, African Americans contributed trillions of dollars of unpaid labor to the U.S. economy. The promise of “40 acres and a mule” was never fulfilled. Reparations address this theft.

Political Call to Action- Advocate for legislation such as H.R. 40, which seeks to study and develop reparations proposals.

Rekindling Passion- The Sacral Chakra

Traditional Scripture Reference-(Shemoth)-Exodus 22:1

"If a man shall steal an ox, or a sheep, and kill it, or sell it; he shall restore five oxen for an ox, and four sheep for a sheep."

The sacral chakra represents passion, creativity, and the righting of wrongs. Yahusha’s law demands restitution. How much more should America repay for the centuries of stolen labor, culture, and dignity?

Halaleyah Scripture Reference- Yeshayahu (Isaiah) 61:8

"For I, Yah, love judgment, I hate robbery for burnt offering; and I will direct their work in truth, and I will make an everlasting covenant with them."

Reparations are not about revenge; they are about covenantal justice.

Healing Through the Heart- Compassion and Restoration

Traditional Scripture Reference-(Luqas)- Luke 19:8-9

"And Zacchaeus stood, and said unto the Master; Behold, Master, the half of my goods I give to the poor; and if I have taken anything from any man by false accusation, I restore him fourfold."

Zacchaeus understood the necessity of reparations as a pathway to healing and righteousness. America must open its heart and acknowledge its debt to African Americans.

Research Insight* Communities that receive reparative investments—such as education, housing, and healthcare—experience generational uplift. Reparations are not merely financial; they are about restoring dignity and opportunity.

Raising Our Voices- The Throat Chakra

Halaleyah Scripture Reference- Tehillim (Psalms) 82:3-4

"Defend the poor and fatherless- do justice to the afflicted and needy. Deliver the poor and needy- rid them out of the hand of the wicked."

The throat chakra is about communication. We must speak boldly to the political systems that resist reparations. Silence is complicity. Yahusha calls us to proclaim justice with unwavering conviction.

Traditional Scripture Reference- Proverbs 31:8-9

"Open thy mouth for the dumb in the cause of all such as are appointed to destruction. Open thy mouth, judge righteously, and plead the cause of the poor and needy."

Vision for the Future- The Third Eye Chakra

Halaleyah Scripture Reference- Mishle (Proverbs) 29:18

"Where there is no vision, the people perish- but he that keepeth the law, happy is he."

Reparations require a vision for a future where African Americans thrive. This vision must include policies that address housing discrimination, wealth gaps, and access to quality education and healthcare.

Political Action Plan- Demand that policymakers allocate resources for reparative justice programs and dismantle systemic barriers.

Crowned with Righteousness- Divine Guidance

Traditional Scripture Reference- 2 Corinthians-( Qrinthyim)-5:18-19

"And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Yahusha HaMashiach, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation."

The crown chakra connects us to the divine. Reparations are not merely about money—they are about reconciliation and redemption. America must turn to Yahusha for guidance in this process.

Halaleyah Scripture Reference- Devarim (Deuteronomy) 15:12-14

"And if thy brother, an Hebrew man, or an Hebrew woman, be sold unto thee, and serve thee six years; then in the seventh year thou shalt let him go free from thee. And when thou sendest him out free from thee, thou shalt not let him go away empty."

Call to Action-

Educate Yourself and Others- Learn about the history of reparations and its scriptural foundation.

Advocate Boldly- Write to legislators, join coalitions, and participate in movements for reparative justice.

Pray with Purpose- Ask Yahusha for guidance and wisdom as we pursue this righteous cause.

Closing Scripture-

Halaleyah Scripture Reference- Tehillim (Psalms) 85:10-11

"Mercy and truth are met together; righteousness and peace have kissed each other. Truth shall spring out of the earth; and righteousness shall look down from heaven."

Let mercy and truth guide our actions as we demand justice for African Americans. Reparations are a sacred step toward righteousness, healing, and unity. HalleluYah!

Closing Prayer-

Father, we thank You for being a God/Elohim of justice and truth. May this message ignite change in the hearts of leaders and citizens alike. Let Your will be done as we walk boldly in the light of Your word. Halaleyah.
