The Sacred Countdown-Preparing for the Sabbath Day
The Day of Preparation- Restoring the Balance through Sabbath and Grace
Opening Prayer -Heavenly Father, we thank You for this day of grace, peace, and the abundant blessings You have bestowed upon us. May our hearts be open to receive Your Word, and may our spirits be lifted as we reflect on the Sabbath's sacred rest and the preparation we need in our lives. In Yahusha's name, we pray. Halleluyah.
Brothers and sisters, today we gather to explore the power of preparation, the sacredness of the Sabbath, and how we can balance our spirits through the grace of Yahusha, guided by the Halaleyah Scriptures. As we embrace the fullness of God’s/Elohim's plan, we will reflect on the harmony between our physical, emotional, and spiritual beings, incorporating the wisdom of the chakras as a tool for understanding the flow of divine energy in us.
Let us begin by remembering the words of ( Tellihim )-Psalm 92:1-2
"It is good to give thanks to Yahusha, and to sing praises to Your name, O Most High; to declare Your loving-kindness in the morning, and Your faithfulness every night."
This reminds us that every day, but especially the Sabbath, is a day to honor Yahusha and prepare ourselves for the deeper work He desires to do in us.
The Story
Once upon a time, in a peaceful village, there was a wise elder named Yara. Yara was known throughout the village for her ability to guide others through life's challenges, helping them align their spirits, minds, and bodies with Yahusha's divine purpose. But there was one thing Yara always emphasized above all else—the importance of preparation and rest on the Sabbath.
One week, a young woman named Keturah came to Yara, burdened by the weight of the world. She was overwhelmed with work, family responsibilities, and the daily grind of life. She had heard about the Sabbath, but she didn’t understand its true power. "Why is the Sabbath so important, Yara?" she asked, hoping for answers.
Yara smiled and invited Keturah to her home, a simple but peaceful space filled with light and warmth. "Come, child," Yara said, "let me share with you the story of preparation and rest, for both are essential in the life of one who walks with Yahusha."
Yara began by reading from the Halaleyah Scriptures, (Shemoth) -Exodus 16:23-
"And he said to them, 'This is what Yahusha has said-Tomorrow is a rest, a Sabbath set-apart to Yahusha. Bake what you bake, and boil what you boil, and lay up for yourselves all that remains, to be kept until morning.'"
She paused and continued, "The Sabbath is a sacred time of rest, a time to set aside our worries and work and to spend time in communion with Yahusha. But in order to truly experience the Sabbath's peace, we must prepare our hearts, our bodies, and our spirits."
Yara guided Keturah to sit in a quiet space, where she asked her to close her eyes and take deep breaths. "Just as the Israelites prepared the manna before the Sabbath, so too must we prepare our hearts to receive Yahusha’s blessings," Yara explained.
She then spoke of the chakras, the energy centers of the body that connect us to the divine flow. "Think of your spirit as a vessel that can only be filled when it is aligned and open. When we work tirelessly without rest, the chakras can become blocked, and we are unable to receive Yahusha’s full grace. The Sabbath is a time to realign and restore balance."
As Keturah closed her eyes and relaxed, Yara guided her through each chakra-
The Root Chakra at the base of the spine, representing stability and grounding. Yara reminded her of ( Tellihim) -Psalm 1:3, which says, "And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that brings forth its fruit in its season."
The Sacral Chakra, the center of creativity and passion. Yara shared(Qrinthyim )-1 Corinthians 10:31, "Whether therefore you eat, or drink, or whatsoever you do, do all to the glory of Elohim."
The Solar Plexus Chakra, where our willpower and personal strength reside. Yara quoted (Yeshayahu)- Isaiah 40:29, "He gives power to the faint, and to them that have no might He increases strength."
The Heart Chakra, where love and compassion flow. Yara spoke from ( Yohanan)-1 John 4:19, "We love because He first loved us."
The Throat Chakra, the center of communication. She shared (Mishlĕy)- Proverbs 15:23, "A man has joy by the answer of his mouth: and a word spoken in due season, how good is it!"
The Third Eye Chakra, where our intuition and understanding are enlightened. Yara reminded her of ( Mishlĕy )-Proverbs 3:5, "Trust in Yahusha with all your heart; and lean not unto your own understanding."
The Crown Chakra, where we connect directly to the Divine. Yara closed with (Tellihim)-Psalm 16:11, "You will show me the path of life- in Your presence is fullness of joy; at Your right hand there are pleasures forevermore."
As Yara led Keturah through each chakra, she felt a sense of peace wash over her. She realized that preparation for the Sabbath was not just about physical work—it was about preparing her heart and spirit to be filled with Yahusha’s grace.
After a deep moment of reflection, Keturah opened her eyes and smiled. "I understand now," she said softly. "The Sabbath is not just a day of rest, but a day of realignment. A day when I prepare my whole being to be in perfect harmony with Yahusha."
Yara nodded and said, "Yes, my child. And when we prepare in this way, we not only experience rest but a deep restoration of body, mind, and spirit. The Sabbath, just like every divine blessing, is an invitation to be renewed, to receive Yahusha’s grace and align ourselves with His perfect will."
Brothers and sisters, as we approach our own Sabbath preparations, let us remember that this day is not simply for physical rest, but a time to restore our balance, renew our spirits, and align ourselves with the divine energy that flows through us. When we make space for Yahusha’s presence, we are filled with His peace, and we are ready to face the world with grace, strength, and love.
May you find rest in His presence, may your chakras be aligned with His grace, and may your heart overflow with His love as you prepare for the Sabbath.
Shalom and blessings to you all.
Closing Prayer*
Heavenly Father, we thank You for the gift of rest and the power of preparation. May we always align our spirits with You, and may our hearts be open to receive Your guidance. We commit to honoring the Sabbath as a time of renewal and grace. In Yahusha’s name, we pray. Halleluyah.
