Stewardship in Crisis A Call to Heal the Earth

Stewards of Creation- A Grace-Filled Response to the Environmental Crisis

Opening Prayer-

Heavenly Father, Creator of all that is seen and unseen, we come before You with humble hearts, seeking wisdom and grace. May Your Word ignite a fire within us to protect and cherish the earth You entrusted into our care. Open our minds to Your truth, our hearts to Your love, and our spirits to Your divine guidance as we gather in Your name. Bless this time, and let it glorify You through Yahusha HaMashiach. Halaleyah!

The Story Begins-

In a quiet family home in Manhattan, the Jones family gathered around their kitchen table. B. Jones, the matriarch and founder of WBJMinistries, had called this meeting with purpose. “We need to talk about something bigger than us,” she began, her voice steady but filled with passion. Her granddaughter Jamira sat beside her, sketching pictures of trees and oceans, while her teenage granddaughter Emerald listened intently, scrolling through articles about climate change.

“Yahusha has called us to be stewards of His creation,” B. Jones said, opening her Bible. “Let us start with the beginning—(Bereshith)-Genesis 2:15- ‘And the Lord/Yahusha God/Elohim took the man, and put him into the garden of Eden to dress it and to keep it.’ The garden was humanity’s first home, and keeping it wasn’t just a duty—it was a gift.”

She then flipped to Halaleyah Scriptures,(Tellihim)-Psalm 24:1, and read aloud- ‘The earth is Yahuah’s, and the fullness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein.’

Looking at her granddaughters, she asked, “What does this mean for us today, when our air is polluted, waters are contaminated, and forests are disappearing?”

Jamira spoke up, “It means we need to take care of the earth, right, Grandma?”

“Exactly,” B. Jones replied, smiling warmly. “But it’s more than just taking care. It’s about aligning ourselves—mind, body, and spirit—with Yahusha’s purpose for us. This is where understanding the chakras can help.”

The Chakras as Pathways to Action*

B. Jones opened a chart she had prepared, explaining how the chakras connect to caring for creation-

Root Chakra (Muladhara)- “This represents our connection to the earth.(Yechezq’el)-Ezekiel 34:27 says, ‘The tree of the field shall yield her fruit, and the earth shall yield her increase.’ We must root ourselves in gratitude for Yahusha’s provision and take practical steps to protect the soil and land.”

Sacral Chakra (Svadhisthana)- “The waters of life. Yahusha said in(Yohanan)- John 4:14, ‘But whoever drinks of the water that I shall give him will never thirst.’ Just as living water sustains us spiritually, we must protect the physical waters that sustain life on earth.”

Solar Plexus Chakra (Manipura)- “This is the fire of (Mishlĕy )-Proverbs 6:6 reminds us, ‘Go to the ant, thou sluggard; consider her ways, and be wise.’ Let us act boldly and wisely in reducing waste and energy consumption.”

Heart Chakra (Anahata)- “Love for all creation.(Romiyim)-Romans 8:19 tells us, ‘For the creation waits in eager expectation for the children of God/Elohim to be revealed.’ We must love the earth and every living thing as Yahusha does.”

Throat Chakra (Vishuddha)- “Speak up!(Mishelĕy)- Proverbs 31:8 urges, ‘Speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves.’ The earth and its creatures cannot speak, so we must be their voice.”

Third Eye Chakra (Ajna)- “Wisdom and vision.(Ya'aqov)- James 1:5 promises, ‘If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God/Elohim.’ Seek Yahusha’s wisdom to discern how best to care for the environment.”

Crown Chakra (Sahasrara)- “Connection to the Divine. (Tellihim )-Psalm 104:24 proclaims, ‘O Lord/Yahusha, how manifold are thy works! In wisdom hast thou made them all.’ Let our care for creation flow from our worship of the Creator.”

The Family’s Bold Step*

Moved by the Word, the Jones family decided to make changes in their daily lives. They reduced plastic use, started a small garden on their apartment balcony, and began advocating for environmental justice through WBJMinistries. Emerald even wrote a blog post tying scripture to sustainability, while Jamira created colorful posters with the words “Halaleyah for Creation!”

“We are called to be the salt of the earth,” B. Jones reminded them, quoting( Mattithyahu)-Matthew 5:13. “Let’s preserve what Yahusha has given us and inspire others to do the same.”

Closing Prayer-

Abba Yahuah, we thank You for the beauty of creation and the responsibility You have placed in our hands. Forgive us for the ways we have fallen short, and fill us with Your Ruach HaKodesh to walk in wisdom, love, and boldness. Align our chakras with Your will and strengthen us to be stewards of Your earth. May WBJMinistries shine as a beacon of hope and action in these times of environmental crisis. All glory and honor to You, through Yahusha HaMashiach. Halaleyah!
